Artista de la Semana/Artist of the week, BADBADNOTGOOD

 This week the band I going to talk about (a personal favourite) it`s BADBADNOTGOOD and the only bad thing they have is the name. Is a jazz-fusion band originally from Toronto Canada, and founded in 2010 integrated by  bassist Chester Hansen, keyboardist Matthew Tavares (ex-member), and drummer Alexander Sowinski. In 2016, they were joined by saxophonist Leland Whitty and usally they mix jazz with hiphop a blend made from the gods to be honest, they have colaborations with artist like Tyler The creator, Ghostface Killah, Kendrick Lamar, MF DOOM, etc. I really recommend all they song even the ones that are only instrumental. so what are you waiting to listen to them?

Esta semana y con toda la emoción le toco banda de la semana a una banda de mis favoritas personales BADBADNOTGOOD y aunque el nombre diga lo contrario son muy pero muy buenos. Esta banda de jazz-fusión fundada en 2010 basada en Toronto, Canadá integrada por el bajista Chester Hansen, tecladista Matthew Tavares (ex miembro), y el baterista Alexander Sowinski. y en 2016, se les unió el saxofonista  Leland Whitty. Esta banda usualmente combina jazz con hip hop que si me preguntan es la mejor mezcla que hay, tienen colaboraciones con artistas gigantes del genero como Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The creator, Ghostface Killah, MF DOOM entre muchos mas, recomiendo ampliamente todas sus canciones hasta las que son instrumentales. ¿Entonces que esperas para escucharlos?

Escuchando algo diferente "Donda" de Kanye West.

 Today I have the opportunity to listen to this so waited for the "Donda" album and let me tell you that even though my expectations weren't accomplished is not a bad album at all it has all kinds of music that Kanye is known for like gospel and hip-hop but also tries to enter the world of drill in his song "Off the Grill" and he does it well but not in the quality he has us accustomed. It has great songs though like "No Child Left Behind" where he brought to life Kanye we know what all his creativity and capacity to make great music or like in "Believe What I Say" were in a typical thing to do for him, he makes an auto sample of one of his songs. So in resume, it's a good album is not MBDTF, but it's a good album that couldn't handle the hype. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de escuchar este tan esperado álbum de Kanye "Donda" donde le hace un homenaje a su mamá y déjenme decirles que aunque no era lo que yo esperaba (para mal)...

Escuchando algo diferente "Awaken My Love!" de Childish Gambino.

 Today I heard this amazing funk/soul album by Childish Gambino where he ditches hip-hop and turns to this genre and let me tell you that he does it in an incredible way, all the songs in this album are amazingly produced and armed (except "Riot") they all sound like he has been doing this type of music all his career. Of course, like any album, it has its strong points and weak points his strong points are the quality of the sounds and the composition of almost all the songs, and the bass is amazingly used and when he really put soul in it make me have literate chills; his weak point comes when you listen to "Riot", "California" and you realize that there is where the no-expertise of this interpreter in this genre because the song called "Riot" doesn't have any riot in it neither in the lyrics as well that in the sound, and when the song "California" sounds its a really flop on this album its a generic song all around. Escuchando algo diferente "The Midnight Organ Fight" de Friegthened Rabbit .

 Today I heard this amazing UK rock album "The Midnight Organ Fight" by Frightened Rabbit (even though the band is Scottish) and I say it's a UK rock album because of the composition and sounds used in the album. it has all the sounds of a mid-2000 rock band and that makes it very nostalgic and full of emotions and this really shows in his first three songs and others in the middle talking about not being loved and just having to go with earthly good just to get thru but also talks about how he realizes that suicide isn't an answer at all and that sometimes we should unplug off the reality and simply hear the music of the radio. It's a great album with sounds easy to hear and diggest and some deep lyrics, I recommend yall to listen to it.
