Artista de la Semana/Artist of the week, Khruangbin

 This week i`m going to talk about a different band, this band is called Khruangbin and even with this hard to write and pronounce name they have an incredible list of songs tha goes from soul all the way to psicodelic songs, and to this day I haven`t listened to any bad songs that they have made. This is a band that was founded in Houston Texas, and his members are Laura Lee in the bass, Mark Speer in the  guitar y Donald Ray "DJ" Johnson Jr. in the drums. and they surely make and amzing trio of talented people, they have features with artist of the magnitud of Paul McCartney and so. So what are you waiting for lisen to this band.

Esta semana voy a hablar sobre una banda un poco diferente, pero no por eso menos buena esta banda es llamada Khruangbin y aunque su nombre sea difícil de escribir y de pronunciar su música vale totalmente la pena, en su lista tienen desde soul hasta música psicodélica de primer nivel y hasta la fecha no he escuchado una mala canción de ellos. Ahora hablemos un poco de la banda esta banda se fundó en Houston, Texas y sus miembros son Laura Lee en el bajo, Mark Speer en la guitarra y Donald Ray "DJ" Johnson Jr. en la batería y vaya que son un trio de personas muy talentosas. Tienen canciones colaborativas con artistas de la talla de Paul McCartney y demás. Así que si te gusta este tipo de canciones no dudes en escucharlos que no vas a perder el tiempo escuchándolos, vale cada segundo la pena.

Escuchando algo diferente "Donda" de Kanye West.

 Today I have the opportunity to listen to this so waited for the "Donda" album and let me tell you that even though my expectations weren't accomplished is not a bad album at all it has all kinds of music that Kanye is known for like gospel and hip-hop but also tries to enter the world of drill in his song "Off the Grill" and he does it well but not in the quality he has us accustomed. It has great songs though like "No Child Left Behind" where he brought to life Kanye we know what all his creativity and capacity to make great music or like in "Believe What I Say" were in a typical thing to do for him, he makes an auto sample of one of his songs. So in resume, it's a good album is not MBDTF, but it's a good album that couldn't handle the hype. Escuchando algo diferente "Awaken My Love!" de Childish Gambino.

 Today I heard this amazing funk/soul album by Childish Gambino where he ditches hip-hop and turns to this genre and let me tell you that he does it in an incredible way, all the songs in this album are amazingly produced and armed (except "Riot") they all sound like he has been doing this type of music all his career. Of course, like any album, it has its strong points and weak points his strong points are the quality of the sounds and the composition of almost all the songs, and the bass is amazingly used and when he really put soul in it make me have literate chills; his weak point comes when you listen to "Riot", "California" and you realize that there is where the no-expertise of this interpreter in this genre because the song called "Riot" doesn't have any riot in it neither in the lyrics as well that in the sound, and when the song "California" sounds its a really flop on this album its a generic song all around. Escuchando algo diferente "The Midnight Organ Fight" de Friegthened Rabbit .

 Today I heard this amazing UK rock album "The Midnight Organ Fight" by Frightened Rabbit (even though the band is Scottish) and I say it's a UK rock album because of the composition and sounds used in the album. it has all the sounds of a mid-2000 rock band and that makes it very nostalgic and full of emotions and this really shows in his first three songs and others in the middle talking about not being loved and just having to go with earthly good just to get thru but also talks about how he realizes that suicide isn't an answer at all and that sometimes we should unplug off the reality and simply hear the music of the radio. It's a great album with sounds easy to hear and diggest and some deep lyrics, I recommend yall to listen to it.
