Artista de la Semana/Artist of the week, Greta Van Fleet

 For who that say that rock has dead, clearly he haven´t heard Greta Van Fleet. This Michigan set band composed by the singer Josh Kiszka, the guitarrist Jake Kiszka, the bassist Sam Kiszka and the baterist Danny Wagner. Their songs have a clear influence in the 70`s rock and I love it, all their songs are amazing whichever you pick. They remember me a lot to Led Zeppelin, mixed with AC/DC. they song debut was "Highway Tune" a truly incredible song (it have been picked in song of the day), and positioning they in the Billboard US Mainstream rock tracks in 2017 for four weeks. I recommend you to listen them ASAP and you would not regret it.

Para los que decían que el rock había muerto, claramente no conocen a Greta Van Fleet. Esta banda originaria de Michigan USA y compuesta por el vocalista Josh Kiszka, el guitarrista Jake Kiszka, el bajista Sam Kiszka y el baterista Danny Wagner. Sus canciones están claramente influenciadas por el rock de los 70´s y la verdad me encanta ya que soy muy fan de este tipo de rock. La canción que elijas escuchar de esta gran banda te aseguro te va a encantar. su estilo me recuerda mucho a Led Zeppelin con algunos toques de AC/DC es un orgasmo al oido por donde lo tomes. Su canción debut fue "Highway Tune" una increíble canción de rock (por cierto fue canción del día en la pagina), posicionando así a la banda en el Billboard US Mainstream rock Tracks en 2017 y manteniendo el puesto por cuatro semanas. Esta banda es calidad garantizada y recomiendo la escuches en cuanto puedas te lo juro no te vas a arrepentir.

 Today I have the opportunity to listen to this so waited for the "Donda" album and let me tell you that even though my expectations weren't accomplished is not a bad album at all it has all kinds of music that Kanye is known for like gospel and hip-hop but also tries to enter the world of drill in his song "Off the Grill" and he does it well but not in the quality he has us accustomed. It has great songs though like "No Child Left Behind" where he brought to life Kanye we know what all his creativity and capacity to make great music or like in "Believe What I Say" were in a typical thing to do for him, he makes an auto sample of one of his songs. So in resume, it's a good album is not MBDTF, but it's a good album that couldn't handle the hype. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de escuchar este tan esperado álbum de Kanye "Donda" donde le hace un homenaje a su mamá y déjenme decirles que aunque no era lo que yo esperaba (para mal)...

Escuchando algo diferente "Awaken My Love!" de Childish Gambino.

 Today I heard this amazing funk/soul album by Childish Gambino where he ditches hip-hop and turns to this genre and let me tell you that he does it in an incredible way, all the songs in this album are amazingly produced and armed (except "Riot") they all sound like he has been doing this type of music all his career. Of course, like any album, it has its strong points and weak points his strong points are the quality of the sounds and the composition of almost all the songs, and the bass is amazingly used and when he really put soul in it make me have literate chills; his weak point comes when you listen to "Riot", "California" and you realize that there is where the no-expertise of this interpreter in this genre because the song called "Riot" doesn't have any riot in it neither in the lyrics as well that in the sound, and when the song "California" sounds its a really flop on this album its a generic song all around. Escuchando algo diferente "The Midnight Organ Fight" de Friegthened Rabbit .

 Today I heard this amazing UK rock album "The Midnight Organ Fight" by Frightened Rabbit (even though the band is Scottish) and I say it's a UK rock album because of the composition and sounds used in the album. it has all the sounds of a mid-2000 rock band and that makes it very nostalgic and full of emotions and this really shows in his first three songs and others in the middle talking about not being loved and just having to go with earthly good just to get thru but also talks about how he realizes that suicide isn't an answer at all and that sometimes we should unplug off the reality and simply hear the music of the radio. It's a great album with sounds easy to hear and diggest and some deep lyrics, I recommend yall to listen to it.
