Escuchando algo diferente "Faces" de Mac Miller.

Today I had the chance to listen to this quite good album of one of my favorite artists of this decade, and let me say to you that it was a great refresh of why Mac Miller was so good and evolving for hip-hop music; in this album, you can see the transformation of the urban (quite generic) rapper Mac was at the beginning of his career to a different rapper, the thing that was a game-changer to his career in this album we can hear the transformation into the jazz sample beats, and I say evolve because he still talks (in the album) about things that all generic rappers talks, girls, drugs, etc. and he hasn´t made the jump yet to the more profound lyrics that made he bright, but where he evolves is in the beats where you can hear that they are heavily influenced by jazz but without losing the hip-hop touch. But all around it´s a pretty solid all-around album, and for the time it was released (2014) it has maintained quite fresh sounds and lyrics. So in conclusion it´s a good album, but not even close to the best of this artist. What do you think?  

Hoy pude escuchar este gran album de uno de mis artistas favoritos de esta decada Mac Miller, y dejame decirte que escuchar este album en especifico me refresca la memoria de por que Mac fue tan renovador y cambiador de juego dentro del hip-hop; pero hablemos un poco del álbum, este es sin duda un álbum donde podemos darnos cuenta de que Mac empieza a evolucionar a lo que conocíamos al momento de su abrupta terminación de carrera, y digo evolucionar por que nos damos cuenta como empieza a transicionar de ser un rapero generico al gran artista que conocemos que llego a ser, podemos escuchar como empezó a dejar que sus beats fueran mas influenciados por el jazz (algo distintivo de Mac Miller), ademas de que se empieza ver que toma un camino de liricas mas profundas (aunque en el album no se escucha tan fácil) dejando atras las ya conocidas por raperos genericos como los son los autos, las mujeres, armas, etc. Así que en pocas palabras es un album que todavía se escucha fresco a pesar de haber sido lanzado en 2014 y aunque no se acerca ni de broma a los mejores trabajos de este artista es un buen album. ¿o qué piensas tú?

 Today I have the opportunity to listen to this so waited for the "Donda" album and let me tell you that even though my expectations weren't accomplished is not a bad album at all it has all kinds of music that Kanye is known for like gospel and hip-hop but also tries to enter the world of drill in his song "Off the Grill" and he does it well but not in the quality he has us accustomed. It has great songs though like "No Child Left Behind" where he brought to life Kanye we know what all his creativity and capacity to make great music or like in "Believe What I Say" were in a typical thing to do for him, he makes an auto sample of one of his songs. So in resume, it's a good album is not MBDTF, but it's a good album that couldn't handle the hype. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de escuchar este tan esperado álbum de Kanye "Donda" donde le hace un homenaje a su mamá y déjenme decirles que aunque no era lo que yo esperaba (para mal)...

Escuchando algo diferente "Awaken My Love!" de Childish Gambino.

 Today I heard this amazing funk/soul album by Childish Gambino where he ditches hip-hop and turns to this genre and let me tell you that he does it in an incredible way, all the songs in this album are amazingly produced and armed (except "Riot") they all sound like he has been doing this type of music all his career. Of course, like any album, it has its strong points and weak points his strong points are the quality of the sounds and the composition of almost all the songs, and the bass is amazingly used and when he really put soul in it make me have literate chills; his weak point comes when you listen to "Riot", "California" and you realize that there is where the no-expertise of this interpreter in this genre because the song called "Riot" doesn't have any riot in it neither in the lyrics as well that in the sound, and when the song "California" sounds its a really flop on this album its a generic song all around. Escuchando algo diferente "The Midnight Organ Fight" de Friegthened Rabbit .

 Today I heard this amazing UK rock album "The Midnight Organ Fight" by Frightened Rabbit (even though the band is Scottish) and I say it's a UK rock album because of the composition and sounds used in the album. it has all the sounds of a mid-2000 rock band and that makes it very nostalgic and full of emotions and this really shows in his first three songs and others in the middle talking about not being loved and just having to go with earthly good just to get thru but also talks about how he realizes that suicide isn't an answer at all and that sometimes we should unplug off the reality and simply hear the music of the radio. It's a great album with sounds easy to hear and diggest and some deep lyrics, I recommend yall to listen to it.
