Escuchando algo diferente "Faces" de Mac Miller.

Today I had the chance to listen to this quite good album of one of my favorite artists of this decade, and let me say to you that it was a great refresh of why Mac Miller was so good and evolving for hip-hop music; in this album, you can see the transformation of the urban (quite generic) rapper Mac was at the beginning of his career to a different rapper, the thing that was a game-changer to his career in this album we can hear the transformation into the jazz sample beats, and I say evolve because he still talks (in the album) about things that all generic rappers talks, girls, drugs, etc. and he hasn´t made the jump yet to the more profound lyrics that made he bright, but where he evolves is in the beats where you can hear that they are heavily influenced by jazz but without losing the hip-hop touch. But all around it´s a pretty solid all-around album, and for the time it was released (2014) it has maintained quite fresh sounds and lyrics. So in conclusion it´s a good album, but no...

Escuchando algo diferente "The Revenge of Hobo Johnson" de Hobo Johnson.

 Today I had the opportunity to listen to this great album, "The Revenge of Hobo Johnson" by you guess it Hobo Johnson and I have to say, I liked it a lot and here is why in this album we can see clearly that he´s taking revenge of all the bad things there are, as the government, the economy or having depression; but he boards it so that is not overwhelming, he makes you feel like you are listening to happy, digestible songs, but this is nowhere near the truth about he is talking about and he expresses it in a very unexplicit way, and the things he says almost everything has a lot of sense. In the other part, in my opinion, the production could be better, and I get that is his style of these homemade-like songs but I feel like it could be better experimenting with new sounds or a new way of making his music, I feel that he dosen´t have evolved almost nothing from he´s most-well know song "peach scone" (which it´s very good) and that was in 2018. Escuchando algo diferente "Donda" de Kanye West.

 Today I have the opportunity to listen to this so waited for the "Donda" album and let me tell you that even though my expectations weren't accomplished is not a bad album at all it has all kinds of music that Kanye is known for like gospel and hip-hop but also tries to enter the world of drill in his song "Off the Grill" and he does it well but not in the quality he has us accustomed. It has great songs though like "No Child Left Behind" where he brought to life Kanye we know what all his creativity and capacity to make great music or like in "Believe What I Say" were in a typical thing to do for him, he makes an auto sample of one of his songs. So in resume, it's a good album is not MBDTF, but it's a good album that couldn't handle the hype. Escuchando algo diferente "Division Bell" de Pink Floyd.

 Today I had the opportunity to listen to this amazing album and one of the more underrated ones of Pink Floyd (if such a thing exists) and let me tell you, this is a diamond of an album really and one of my personal favorites of this band, it has blues (something that I've never heard before coming of Pink Floyd) and also have this amazing psychedelic rock that characterizes this band and let me tell you they do it so well that you really fell HighinMusic and what else can I tell you this album feels like the purest form of Pink Floyd and that's a great thing because this is one of the most important progressive/psychedelic rock band of all time. So I don't know what else I have to tell you to go and listen to it, it's an amazing listening experience. Escuchando algo diferente "Awaken My Love!" de Childish Gambino.

 Today I heard this amazing funk/soul album by Childish Gambino where he ditches hip-hop and turns to this genre and let me tell you that he does it in an incredible way, all the songs in this album are amazingly produced and armed (except "Riot") they all sound like he has been doing this type of music all his career. Of course, like any album, it has its strong points and weak points his strong points are the quality of the sounds and the composition of almost all the songs, and the bass is amazingly used and when he really put soul in it make me have literate chills; his weak point comes when you listen to "Riot", "California" and you realize that there is where the no-expertise of this interpreter in this genre because the song called "Riot" doesn't have any riot in it neither in the lyrics as well that in the sound, and when the song "California" sounds its a really flop on this album its a generic song all around. Escuchando algo diferente "The Midnight Organ Fight" de Friegthened Rabbit .

 Today I heard this amazing UK rock album "The Midnight Organ Fight" by Frightened Rabbit (even though the band is Scottish) and I say it's a UK rock album because of the composition and sounds used in the album. it has all the sounds of a mid-2000 rock band and that makes it very nostalgic and full of emotions and this really shows in his first three songs and others in the middle talking about not being loved and just having to go with earthly good just to get thru but also talks about how he realizes that suicide isn't an answer at all and that sometimes we should unplug off the reality and simply hear the music of the radio. It's a great album with sounds easy to hear and diggest and some deep lyrics, I recommend yall to listen to it. Escuchando algo diferente "In Rainbows" de RadioHead.

 Today I listened to this incredible rock album "In Rainbows" by possibly one of the bands that have more impact on the modern rock in the world and after listening to this album I can see why. This album has a large range of sounds and styles that don't match easily with anything I have to listen to before (maybe a little like Pink Floyd) and that really blow my mind and that is why this album is so good, for its originality and novelty using that kind of sounds and they really master it. I really recommend listening to it (or the songs I going to recommend) all around a great rock/progressive rock album. Hoy escuche este gran album de RadioHead llamado "In Rainbows" y me queda claro porque esta es una de las bandas que mas a aportado al rock contemporaneo y es porque todas sus canciones suena como algo nuevo (aunque se podria comparar un poco con Pink Floyd) algo que nadie ha hecho con sonidos muy diferentes que hacen que escucharlo sea una experiencia agradab...

 Today I heard this incredible popular album and one of the best of all time. "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" accomplished with all was promise to me about this album, it has amazing beats produce by Kanye West and some quite rad features as well as John Legend, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, and much more, also his lyrics are clear and blunt about the complaint they want to approach. All of this mixed give us this masterpiece of album, I recommend you to listen to it, you would not regret it.  Hoy escuche este álbum (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) considerado uno de los mejores de todo los tiempos y la verdad cumple con creces todo lo que se me había prometido del mismo desde los beats magistralmente producidos, los feats que no dejan nada que desear perfectamente todos acoplados y para terminar unas letras clara y tajantes de la queja que el intérprete tiene; todo esto mezclado y junto de la forma que lo hace Kanye West nos deja una obra maestra del hip hop y porque no decirlo ...

 Today I listened to "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST" this amazing rap/hip-hop album by Tyler The Creator and for sure it doesn't disappoint with this album, it has some incredible sounds (now staple of this artist), and what I can say about his lyrics, amazing his way of confronting the various problems touched in this album based on the humor and sarcasm.  Today I had the opportunity to listen of what became one of my favourite spanish albums of possibly all time and that is "El Madrileño" by C. Tangana its an amazing album that mixes all kinds of music like tango, flamenco, bossa nova, etc. But without loosing the backbone of the style of this artist, plus it has features with people of incredible level in the hispanic music world and blended all with class and elegance. If you want to start listening to spanish music I reccomend you start with this album.
